Prof.Dr. Belgin ÜNAL

My primary research interests are epidemiology, control policies of noncommunicable diseases, health services research and health promotion. 


I was graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and started my Public Health speciality training in the Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health (1993-2000).

I completed Master of Public Health programme in the Braun School of Public Health of Hebrew University, Jerusalem in 1998-1999. I studied three years to complete my PhD in Public Health in the Liverpool University, UK between 2001and 2004.

After completing my PhD at the Liverpool University, I returned to the Dokuz Eylül University Department of Public Health where I became a faculty member and am currently acting as the Head of the Department.
